Reviews and Ratings
My recent stay at the resort had its ups and downs. The location by the lake was stunning, and the beach was a highlight for my family. However, the dining options were disappointing, and the service fell short in several areas. The price felt steep for the amount of amenities and services offered.
The hotel has a fantastic location, especially in the summer months, as it's very close to the beach and features a lovely patio for dining. While the rooms and facilities are comfortable, they are in desperate need of updates and cleanliness. The indoor pool was a hit with the kids, but the game room was a huge letdown, and the dining options felt overpriced for what they offered.
I recently stayed at Oakwood Resort for a weekend getaway, and while I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and proximity to the beach, the dining options left much to be desired. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the service and overall dining experience really fell short compared to what I hoped for, especially given the price I paid.
We had a lovely weekend at Oakwood Resort, with its clean and comfortable rooms and excellent amenities, including a beautiful private beach. The golf course, pool, and spa made our stay enjoyable, though we had some trouble at Dave’s Pub which was quite disappointing. Overall, it’s a great place for a family getaway, but be prepared for some dining frustrations.
I had a fantastic experience at the Oakwood for our wedding celebration. The event planning was exceptional, especially thanks to Sara, who made everything seamless. On the downside, I heard from others that the service aspect was a bit lacking in certain areas, such as room amenities. Overall, a lovely venue with great support for events but some room issues to work on.
